Ancient legends speak of a test everypony must take before they get their cutie mark. Nopony knows if it is true or not. Is it true? And more importantly, what happens if you fail?

Oh and Pinkie Pie comes in part two.

Weeell. If anypony can overcome a horrifying curse destined to bring death to anybody Orin likes even a little bit it makes sense to me that it be Pinkie. I do have to wonder if every pony that gets a Cutie Mark meets with the elders. It seems like something they'd talk about more often or react to when it happens. This means it's either a subconcious thing - in their heads, instant, and forgotten - or that they're lying and they don't deal with everyone.

I choose to believe that Orin hallucinated the whole thing, and burned down the village himself! And now armed with Pepper Breadsticks his ability for evil shall grow considerable! He may add as many as twenty seven cups of fire peppers!

Okay, not really.

I like it. It's much more descriptive than Soarin's little secret and I think it's a great improvement - it's better written and it flows better. Well done Dashie, it's a fun story if a tad depressing - which is no criticism - and I look forward to more.

Oh, and by the way? Tell noone that I praised you! Then they'll not believe we're archenemies anymore and it'll be awkward and they'll ask questions and it'll all be a big hassle. So if anyone asks i'm a terrible person and we're still trying to hunt one another down.
