Wait a sec, in the description it was said that Twilight was oblivious to Luna's advances yet here in this chapter she seems to be completely, or at least somewhat, aware of what Luna is doing. Oblivious would be she doesn't have the slightest clue, that the only way to get the message across would be for the person (pony in this case) to come right up and say it to them or have it spelled out in bold lettering.

This was amazingly well constructed. Awesome work here, really. The idea is simply fascinating, the plot in motion is curiously moving in an interesting direction, first chapter and I am already hooked!

This was very entertaining. I love all the lampshades Discord hangs (Like calling it Operation TwiLuna). You also do a really good job portraying the various gods, as it seems to match their canon personalities.
You do seem to rely a bit heavily on clichés though, like referencing Celestia's apparent obsession with cake a bit too often. Still, I understand that they appear rarely enough in the show that you have little to draw on, so that's forgivable.
I'll definitely be following this one.
Well, for a first fic, it is really good. A few issues here and there in terms of grammar, sentence fluency, and show v. tell, but these are all things that are learned in time. Although I expected a bit more of TwiLuna perspective, it was still a good start and I look forward to reading more and watching you grow as a writer.

this was very entertaining, but there is one tiny thing that bugs me:
what did Cadence think was going to happen? she had to have known that one of them would say something like that to the other at some point. what? did she think that they would both look at the dinner, the flowers, and the fireflies and just roll with it without asking any questions?
So...Either Discord will actually surprise us all and succeed, or he'll fail horribly and Twilight and Luna will get together on their own somehow without any meddling.
I can't decide which possibility would amuse me more. Either way, I wasn't expecting another update so soon. Here's hoping for another one
