Can Equestria handle the impact caused by Wild Pony, who is actually the somewhat scrambled and ponified martial arts prodigy and weirdness magnet otherwise known as Ranma Saotome?
Set after the failed wedding at the end of Ranma ½ and approximately three years before the return of Nightmare Moon, then rapidly skips ahead to just a few months prior.
Now has a side story: My Little Sphinx
On a side note, like MLP:FiM itself, the story will mainly be Slice of Life, with the occasional sections of Action/Adventure popping up now and then. I mention this because I couldn't choose both tags, and of the two, this story weighs in more on the Slice of Life side.

But yes, this is essentially the same story I posted on Fanfiction.net, with just a few tweaks and changes here and there, either to bring the story further into compliance with the guidelines of FiMFiction, or to take advantage of features that Fanfiction.net simply doesn't have.

Spruce Tree is an expy of Bruce Lee, possibly with a bit of Jackie Chan thrown in. The idea is that he would be a martial artist from Neighpony who got into acting once he moved to Equestria, and has even tried his hoof in motion pictures. Some of which Big Mac has apparently watched...

Ranma was one of the animes that got me into anime in general, so I am pleased to see this crossover
I personally am not against harems or herds, but I will admit that Ranma has probably had enough of that
Eventually he may want to pursue a more normal romance, but right now he needs to just relax and enjoy a (relatively) normal life.
Considering how long Ranma has been affected by the poison joke I cannot help but wonder if it is permanent.
I mean that long of a time frame plus the whole lawn ornament thing....
At the very least I would expect the normal cure to be ineffectual.

Nice chapter. I can totally see Ranma catching two certain brats taunting Applebloom about her lack of a cutie mark and verbally tearing into them. I can also see Ranma having to deal with "Cutie Mark Crusaders Martial Arts Masters YAY!" at some point and finding them at the very least enthusiastic and amusing. Heaven help the Everfree beastie that comes after them when Ranma is around. I have to wonder what Twilight will make of Ranma when she arrives in Ponyville. I'm eager to see things catch up to the start of the series.

3876917 Lol, I can see that happening, also Twilight's eye twitching after Ranma demonstrates the Dragon's Heaven Blast. Oh yeah, Ranma might be a good trainer for Scootaloo if she can figure out some wing exercises to help strengthen her wings. Add Dinky to the Crusaders and have Ranma follow them to pull their tails out of messes and tree sap and much fun will be had.

3870844 Well, unless you decide to remove Twilight, or change the bearer of the Element of magic or create an element for Ramna, I don't see how she is going to fit in the Pilot. Then again, I suppose she can be used to rework the scenes that reveal the element of each ponies.
But, please don't change the Poison Joke exposition! Fluterguy is so funny. Actually, strangely, Ramna might be the only one who have enough experience with bad luck to listen to Zecora.
