A small stallion comes to Ponyville under orders from Princess Celestia to forge armor and weapons for the newly dubbed "Council of Friendship". The mane six learn that while friendship is magic sometimes magic isn't enough.
This idea has been rattling around in my head for awhile now but for the longest time I couldn't put an ending on it but it's done now so hopefully ya'll enjoy it.
This is my first and quite possibly only Fan-Fiction.

Nice. I am interested where this is going. I do have to ask Why does Spike not get anything. I mean he does have a throne as well. And they are all "friends" So shouldn't he be treated the same as them. It is not like he wouldn't fight along side them and protect them to the fullest. Hell he is the second strongest to Twilight I would say and that isn't me counting how strong he could become if he really let go.
I am really interesting in this story since I always had a interest in the art of forging. Watching someone take the art so seriously really sparks makes me happy to see. Twi and Dash should have been yelled at. No one would have said anything if Rarity did the same thing about her dresses why should you say something about his art. I do still hope Spike gets something out of this. He can be so much more if people have faith in him.
These story should get alot more attention then it is. It is really interesting to read and is a joy to watch them craft what I am feeling will be epic weapons and armor.
Man I like this story. I have a few ideas but I really want to learn where the plot is going.
is this the end of our lonesome smithy or shall he finally learn the power of friendship stay tuned!!!!!!

Honest critique time: Personally, I liked the concept of the story and how things developed and ended. However... what I did not like was the execution of it. Honestly, reading it was like reading a detailed summary. Example, you could've gone into greater detail about Spike and Kajiya's relationship. It has potential, but as it is I give it a 5/10.
Hope I don't discourage you. This is meant to improve your skill not dash it to pieces.

As you can see I write very little, and the stuff I have on this sight is insignificant compared to the report and analysis writing I do for my classes which is probably why it felt like reading a summary. I just imagine Spike getting so Mad at the villain in the future since he didn’t witness most of the battles that the Main six go through but in the Comics?
I’m not sure how many battles he have with the main 6.
