Got your timeline skewed a bit mane 6 lost their elements before the castle. Not bad writing, a bit quick on the acceptance at the end. Wouldve been better to have the lotus make the suggestion. All that aside good writing so far.
As a side note I would have made him mute be more interesting that way.

The stories that have the Tenno being called by their Warframe's name set me to thinking. What if, in the lore, there is technically only one of each warframe in each clan and that each clan is lead by one prime (because one of each Warframe)? What would that say about their fluff potential for asskicking?
Like always, Spike is the only one with a brain. Fortunately, his canon self is quite sharp, too. So adorable.

I would've liked to see them hit him with the Elements and their reaction to nothing happening. I imagine "Oh Shit" would be foremost. Or if it did work, the reaction of his clan when they arrive. I doubt there would be an Equestria left. Or ponies for that matter. I doubt Celestia will be happy either way to learn that the Mane Six tried to use the Elements on someone who was defending himself from an unprovoked attack from ponies she trusted to use their heads.
*sigh* Spike...why would you expect an alien to speak your language? Celestia already said in her letter, and likely to her guards, that he is not from your world.

Yeah, I never understood that so I just ignore it in the lore. How can Tenno have been caught napping (which I think some were in the backstory) when not only were they all together on the moon, but the moon was in the Void thanks to the Lotus and when it and they returned, they were awoken together? Simple, they can't have been taken or attacked when they woke plus they were all together in the same place. Not just the same celestial object. The same freaking facility and probably the same large room.
So, the Royal Guard attacks a stranger for no reason without considering the potential consequences of their actions. I'd love to see at least one fic where that was disastrous for Equestria and they live to realize it and for every pony to know it was all their fault. Seriously, Equestria seems to be a think-first type of society. If their soldiers cannot do so, then they don't deserve to be soldiers. In fact, if they don't think before acting like ponies in the show seem to do, then aren't they actually bad ponies?
Well, Tenno aren't the sort to let their Rogues Gallery survive the first encounter.
