A concept that the whole of Equestria might finally be able to enjoy for a good long while.
Nightmare Moon has been defeated and Princess Luna restored, the changeling invasion was repelled, King Sombra was banished eternally and the Crystal Empire returned to its former glory, and even Discord himself was eventually reformed towards a better state. Indeed, it could be said that the ponies of Equestria might finally be able to relax and recuperate from many an averted crisis.
But peace is a fragile thing...is it not?
Since her recovery, Princess Luna has been pushing herself ever harder towards finally gaining her subject's acceptance that she longs for so much. However, as the months drag on, the stress has slowly begun threatening to bring her towards the breaking point. Whilst seeking out what she believes might finally show the ponies that she only means well, the Princess of the Night happens to stumble upon something not ever once seen upon the face of the planet. A piece of ancient knowledge, all but completely lost to the passage of time.
However, even the greatest of knowledge...has the potential for unmatched destruction.

I won't ask that you take it easy on me, only that you try to keep any criticism on the constructive level (unless I do something blatantly stupid and abhorrent...). In turn, I will do my absolute best to take all of your suggestions to mind, and attempt improve the story in any fields necessary.
All in all...it won't be perfect, but it is my greatest hope that it will in some way pique your interests.

I was gonna read this story, but then I saw all the deleted comments, and realized that this was gonna be one of those, so now I think I'll pass.

Gee, it couldn't possibly be that those deleted comments were referring to an outdated draft and had no reason to exist anymore. Obviously censorship!
To all of those worrying about deleted comments, please don't.
I only did that because they were the way my proofreaders talked to me during that process.
I simply didn't want those clogging the actual story.

Seems interesting so far, but Celestia feels kinda OOC in the beginning. She's never been outright angry except at Discord. Not even Chrysalis made her show anger, more just determination to defeat her.
I think her being "obviously angry" and annoyed doesn't quite fit the "Celestia box." I mean, how you write her is how she would act towards someone who legitimately pissed her off, not her own sister because she dozed off.

Hmm,
The way I was trying to potray her was more on the "wit's end" side of annoyed.
Even though I don't physically show it, I try to imply that Luna's kinda been "less than interested" for the entire meeting. Her dozing off just kinda peeved Celestia more than anything else.
But anyway, I'll see if I can work on that in later portrayals of her.

Bah skeletons annoying little buggers a good fire ball always seems to do the trick
Liking the idea.
Only two things I could say I have an issue with is that fact that the skeletons still smell after well over a thousand years. After just a few years dead things stop smelling because there is nothing left for bacteria to eat to cause the smell.
Lastly is the smell itself. Acrid from what I know is associated with a stinging smoky smell.
Death personally smells sickeningly sweet.

The reason there's still a smell to begin with though, is partially due to the nature of Luna's rescuer.
You could call it a sort of "suspended animation" of sorts, where nothing in the vicinity is aging quite the same.
Cause if it was under normal circumstances...there probably wouldn't be anything left of the corpses to begin with.
But that's gonna be covered later down the line.
