Apple Bloom may come from a family of Apple Farmers, but that doesn't mean she loves apples more than anything. No, what she truly loves is Chocolate. But not just any chocolate; Chocolate made by the Pinkie Pie Chocolate Factory. All she has ever wanted was to see what was inside the amazing factory. But nopony ever goes in, and nopony ever goes out.
That all changes when five children win the opportunity to tour the Factory, and Apple Bloom is one of them. But this isn't going to be an ordinary tour, and Pinkie isn't your ordinary tour guide.

Also I'm not going to be adding in a Pinkie back story...unless people ask me to.

After reading this chapter, I keep seeing the 2005 film in my head. If the picture is reference to the 1971 film, shouldn't there be more references to that? I'm not saying that's bad or anything, I like both movies.
5363318 It's mostly based on the 2005 film, with elements from the book, musical, and 1971 film. The picture was picked because it had the title and the image of what Pinkie will look like in the story. However, I hope to add new things in once we enter the factory.

In regards to the story, I will give it a tentative try. I say tentative because I didn't like Burton's Wonka, and you say ithis story is inspired by that version, but also draws inspiration from the original.
I was imagining a fic like this would arise where Pinkie got her cutie mark from the whole thing.

I missed this story. It's been ages since I've read the book or seen the first movie so my memory is rusty enough that I can sit back and enjoy it and not worry about how it might or might not match up.

So, this is AU, right? I think I get it. In this world, the Mane 6 never met, neither did the CMC. Applebloom is still friends with Twist, and none of the Mane Six or CMC besides Applejack and Applebloom have been mentioned besides Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, who live up in Cloudsdale.
And when the radio mentions the winners, Applebloom shows no signs of knowing Scootaloo or Diamond Tiara, the same thing with Applejack and Rainbow Dash. One more thing, Applebloom learns that Pinkie Pie used to live in Sugarcube Corner, meaning that the two never had their famous cupcake-making scene together.
I think I have enough to conclude I'm right. So... am I right?
