A warm summer afternoon's breeze blows through the clouds and feathers of the one and only Rainbow Dash. Everyday for the past five years she has watched the sunset, and flown in its light. She is to attend a party soon, to celebrate the Tantabus' defeat, but not before flying in day's last light.
Story is heavily dialogue based.

Nice atmosphere, but it reads like a sad anime soap opera. And making fun of your padding by suddenly deciding Rainbow was narrating it in her head, and then admonishing herself for it, was not a neat way of poking fun at yourself; it was actually a little cringe-worthy.
In other words, Spike has a very dark future ahead of him. It was impossible not to notice that he wasn't at Pinkie's stupid "Beating Tantabus" party even though - in a rare instance - he helped them deal with it.
6419739 I actually stopped caring about this story as I was writing the finished product. I restarted this story so many times since February 18 that I now don't even care whether I forgot Spike, I don't care if it's cringe worthy, nor do I care if people like it or not. I'm just happy to tick it off the list of stories I have yet to publish.
Though, the compliment on the atmosphere and the way you described how it reads warms me. An explanation to my cringe worthy little remark by Rainbow Dash is that this story was originally written in first person, but I changed it because it was getting convoluted and was on the edge of being scrapped and restarted like the other three versions.
well that was a nice short read.
