As it turns out, Celestia has problems of her own. Can they help each other survive the night? Book 0 of the Destiny Saga
I have a feeling "Equestria's End" isn't doomsday at all but a shift in government, but then what good prophecy doesn't make things like that sound like doomsday?
cool story
Well StatSwril's time calculations where certainly off by a bit, considering Twilight finished fulfilling the prophecy only about a year after it started. Of course I always like the idea that if destiny is a inescapable thing it is also a very flexible thing, prophecy is a vague outline, a series of pieces than can be arranged in many different configurations. People, or ponies in this case, have free will that lets them shape the outcome and meaning of prophecies, the efforts of the Elements of Harmony changed the meaning of "Equestria's End" from "the destruction of Equestria" to "A Great Change that will be seen as the end of an Era"
