He has a very good reason to be amnesiac, just wait 'til I write it.
And he has a good reason to be powerful. But don't worry, Morn's not overpowered godlike invulnerable being, not at all.
Overall pretty good you're pacing could use some work and there were some out of character moments but very good especially if this is your second story.

I always use dirt to clean with.
I have no clue what word you meant to use, just that "dirt" is obviously wrong.
I haven't visited Ponyville in a while, so why not? No need for formal greetings, I'm just wanting to have a relaxing break.

The answer to your question about taking Morn to the hospital:
First of all, Twilight couldn't think rationally, so the first thought she had is taking Morn to her castle to see what she can do by herself. The second is that clinic, as it is in the village, doesn't have qualified doctors to do magic transfer.
