This story is a sequel to The Draconequus with the Dragon Tattoo
WARNING: Some comments may contain spoilers.
It's been a year since Discord cut Fluttershy out of his life after the events of The Draconequus with the Dragon Tattoo, but their paths are destined to cross once again when two of Fluttershy's close friends are murdered and all the evidence seems to point to a certain draconequus.
AU Fluttercord set eleven years after the first three seasons minus the Discord episodes. Inspired by Discord and Fluttershy's relationship both in the show and several fanfics (*cough* Bride of Discord *cough*) Based loosely on the plot from "The Girl who Played with Fire" by Stieg Larsson. Like the first story, this one has some plot-related Murder Mystery Elements in it so is rated T just to be on the safe side.

Oh no Angel! I really enjoyed his role in TDwtDT. Not that I hated him in the tv show. While he has been horrible often, he has always shown a supportive side for Fluttershy as well. Looking forward to the next chapter though.

Ok I already commented on fan fiction, but I wanted to give a comment here as well. That dream thing was awesome. Has he been trying that for a while? Can he tell from her reactions from within the dream that she wants him too? And still, this villain makes me super nervous. I don't know what to think of lil miss treehouse.....I'm tied up in the romantic tension, but constantly suspicious. It's great.

He has, but he thinks he's just manipulating his own dreams about her. He doesn't realize that he ended up magically hacking into her dreams in the process, so he thinks he's just getting reactions from some idealized dream-version of her, *chuckles* rather than the actual reactions from the real Fluttershy.
As for the villain situation ... Bwahahaha I'm afraid you'll have to just wait and see what happens as the chapters come out.
Like with any incredibly well-written and engaging story, it is important that this be said, considering the time it took to write this.

This was worth the wait. And I would have waited much longer for this, to boot, so considering, you actually did this quite fast in my opinion.
Your imagination is something to be envied, my friend. I realize that you're taking this story from a published novel and making it your own, but that doesn't mean there's no originality, for when I read this, I see originality everywhere. The part where Discord shaved his hair, only to remember why...The part with the hornets-turned-butterfly-turned-moth was a stroke of brilliance in my eyes. I do not think I would have thought of it, I honestly don't. If there's anything I love in writing, it's creativity and imagination, which is crucial when taking on Discord as a subject. I applaud you there, I really do.
And the TreeHAB and the dream....I love a good pun, and I love a romantic dream even more, especially when it was Discord actually attempting to court Fluttershy and waking up and growling at his failure. Because that was actually quite funny to me. As you said...so close!
And as I tend to do, I am beginning to overthink things. You ended this with Angel Bunny leaving the world for a better place...and I can't help but wonder at the timing. After all, we all know Angel Bunny loves his owner, especially with the way you write him. And as you described in the chapter, he's stubborn too. He will die when he's READY to die...but he finally let himself go at the end of this, when Fluttershy had a potential new friend in the house and a hopeful dream about the one she misses.
I just wonder if Angel Bunny felt that he could finally go, knowing that Fluttershy wouldn't be alone, that she'd be okay...? Am I reading too much into this?!?!?

To be fair, he actually survived longer than I thought he would. I'm already in love with this sequel, and that dream sequence was adorable, if I'm right and Discord didn't even know Fluttershy was experiencing it herself. I can't wait until they get back together, maybe just as partners at first, and try to solve whatever's going on in the prologue. 
So far, my theories:
I don't know if I'm supposed to put my theories in spoiler tags or not, but my theory so far: Skywishes is either linked with the prologue, or already knew Sunny Days was dead, which leads to more questions...

Okay, so I couldn't get it out by the end of December. However, I can say that as of Jan 2, 2016, I do have most of chapter 2 written and am now working on editing it, so I can say it will be available this month.
I was conflicted on this sequel at first. It was a case of whether I wanted more of this amazing story, or my lovey ending sooner.

Oh man, I just wasn't expecting that at all 
Not only a good plot twist, but also a good follow up(dang good is a bad word for this context:/) to Angel's Death...in a sense. Here, let me explain: Angel, like Fluttershy said, passes away almost on his own terms and leaves the earth almost knowing that he is no longer needed. He already fulfilled his duty in protecting her when she needed him the most. Thus, another pony and/or creature will take over his spot so that she can move on with her life. Granny can finally pass in peace because she finally solved the great mystery about her grand daughter and Applejack was finally returned to her after all those years. She was able to have one last year with her before passing
She fulfilled the role she was meant to play and was there for Applejack when she really needed her. And now it's time for...let's just say....somepony to take care of Appleajack
