If Aranea and her husband-mate Nohbodi were voiced, what would they sound like?
6712973 Good question, and one I never asked myself before this. Nohbodi sounds like me, for the obvious reasons (95% of the memories in the prequel are true, except for the names), your standard midwestern combination of redneck and nerd. Aranea has a relatively deep/smoky voice for a woman, with a slight buzzing or drone. She speaks flatly, with heavy logic. Think if Ben Stein were female, or Bea Arthur. Also, I'm drunk, so that answer may change or be improved upon later.
I should probably mention that while initial portions were drawn from experience, this is not a self-insert fic.

Considerable writer's block, and the last 3 chapters may have been the weakest thing I've done in all my fics. I'll completely rewrite (or significantly add to) them when I can get myself into it again. Having burned out on the show, this is likely the last thing I do before moving on completely to the next obsession - I want to make it worth people's time.
I get what you mean.The show seems to have degraded somewhat.I love your last story and it ended well.maybe you can use the first chater from this story as an ending for it.This story does seem a little tense and somewhat aggravating as everyone seems a little ooc,after all if discord can change reality itself and he's got free reign,I doubt they would be worried about a magic-resistant human.But your last story I will always remember as one of the best out here on this site :)
7877434 Yeah, putting it in the POV of something as stoic as Aranea gives it a significantly different vibe than the original. Honestly I kind of wish I hadn't started on a sequel, since it can't match what it follows. Hopefully I can finish it shortly. I know it won't match the first (Which I still have to make a final edit run on to close some loose strings in the story), but I hope it's at least good.
Oh please tell me there is more coming, I would hate for this to end on a cliffhanger like this and never end.
