I was expecting horror! I didn't expect eerie what the f*ck! Still liked it though XD That picture is so cool.

Don't act like I didn't catch those Undertale references...

Huh this was interesting. Why do I love your depiction of the Sonata so much?

...You know. This actually explains a thing or two. I think. For the way you typically write these three, anyway.

-Adagio retains her role as leader (whatever that means by now) through just how well she can mess with the others' (mainly Aria) heads.
-Aria is a bit of a freak has some interesting tastes and perhaps just a leaning toward angry sex.
-Sonata's law-breaking levels of insanity never seem to get them arrested because the victims are often... content with the experience, in the end.
-All three of them, I guess, find something they consider worth sticking around for in this little mix of madness, and may even just be showing their love in a way only creatures of chaos would. Maybe it's not being adored they want so much anymore as it is just getting some attention, even if in slightly messed up ways.

Perhaps I'm just overthinking it, but it's an intriguing take. :trixieshiftright:

I've only touched on it here and there in the other stories, but there doesn't seem to be any obvious reasons why the girls stick together as a family of sorts. Even stuck in the same house, the three often gravitate towards close proximity with one another despite the fact this often produces a cacophony of noise from a trio of electronic devices providing stimuli.

So yes, there's definitely a subtle nature to the... "loving" aspects of their relationships with one another, but they've basically established their own take on a family.

Next Day:

Sunset: Did you have 'fun' with the Dazzlings?
Guy: BEST. GAME. OF. FREEZE TAG. EVER!!!
Pinkie: REALLY? I want to play with them!
Sunset: Uh Pinkie remember the Dazzlings are insane so they play a different, more 'adult' version of freeza tag.
Pinkie: Oh you mean like how Rarity plays with me and Fluttershy!
Sunset: Wait what?
Guy:.....Can play with you sometime? Please?
Pinkie: Sure, Rarity's been wanting for more people to join for a while now. But the next game is something new that Shy's been wanting to try out. Something to do with pets and weird toys. Oh where are you going Sunset?
Sunset: Back to Equestria to wander the frozen lands surrounding the Crystal Empire and disappear forever.
Pinkie: Ookie dookie loki.

Adagio just chuckles. “What’s wrong? Aria mad about all this?”

Wonder if this'll turn out the way it's implied...

1856-04-16, privateering was legal in the beginning of the day but was illegal by the end of the day.

¡Monty Python & The Holy Grail!

This is what it would be like if Arrested Development was x-rated.

:ajbemused: (WTF) <LOL> (WTF)

Took me a while to notice this extra chapter.

I don't think I'll ever get tired of how flat-out DERANGED your Sonata is.

Or anything else you do with the Dazzlings.

Sunset's cameo was just priceless. :rainbowlaugh:

Sonata problem NOW is it eh, guy?

Trapped… in heaven!

No. You're in hell. You just haven't realized it yet.

And thus did Norman go forth to confront his destiny. Truly he has remembered the face of his father.

It's about time someone finally mentions who grey beanie wearing teen is. :rainbowlaugh: He's been in like... at least 3 of my Dazzling stories even.

How could I not? I love that guy. The fanon character, anyway.

Luck from the devil!

I'd call it codependency. Regardless of how they actually feel about each other, they've been together for so long that the absence of any one of them would be a major wound on the psyches of the other two. It's kind of like Stockholm Syndrome, except that all three of them are equally detrimental to and dependent on each other. That, and there's also the safety of homogeneity. As far as anyone knows, they are the only members of their species, and failing that are the only ones who know what they've been through.

The latter part is why they instinctively want to include Sunset in their psychotic little "family" unit, but also why they would never make any effort to integrate as long as she's around. With her serving as a bridge on a moral/ethical spectrum between the Sirens and the ponies or humans, they know that they can always rely on her to get sympathy and bailing out for their insanity that they are pretending they don't need or want to preserve what's left of their pride and self-image. If Sunset ever gets over the guilt for her past behavior, though, they're kind of screwed, because that's the only thing really holding her to that position.
