Really, really good. Kinda reminds me of the Justice League episode "For the Man Who Has Everything."

You're really on a roll recently! Nice little story, gets readers thinking about the value of memories.

That's exactly where I got the idea. I forgot which episode that was, but the idea for this story came from wondering what it would be like if one of the Mane Six encountered a similar situation.

That was really cool, actually. :rainbowdetermined2: A lot like that episode of Doctor Who where those dream crabs or whatever slowly dissolve their host's brain like a spider when making them hallucinate.

Such a vicious trap. To have to be able to give up the thing you want more than anything is pure torture. Applejack seemed to have it a little easier than Krypton's favored son but no one should have to go through that. Luckily she has friends and family to help her through it.

I bet this is where Morgal got it from. I like its name from the show just because of how it has nearly the same meaning, it is called The Black Mercy.

I knew it was a dream/artificial world when the parents were still alive and yet Apple Bloom was using the clubhouse. Still, I wanted to keep reading to figure out why she was there. I almost think you could have dragged it out a bit longer, but perhaps it's best that the story didn't overstay its welcome. Nice work.

Greatly underappreciated story.

The feelz! they hurt so good! :fluttershyouch:
10/10 on the :yay:itude meter!

Pardon my Prench, but ow.

Nicely done. Liked and faved.

Very nice story, of all the justice league episodes, that one definitely left the deepest impression in my mind. And yeah, makes the most since for Applejack to be its target, she has the best(or, perhaps, worst memories) for it to draw from; and her being the element of honesty makes it fitting for her to have to face the sweetest lie.
