Well, this wasn't about finding out who Moonflower is but the consequences the protagonist of the story finding out.
7558127 70%totally freak out, 20% worrying about what happened and will happen while taking the events at the club in closer view 10% carry on like before if she does not object.
I'm confused.... Moonflower IS Nightmare... So ya .... She would know all about it all ya? He knows that ... So am I missing something or is this a flaw ?

Well, Moonflower is Luna. The protagonist doesn't know she's Luna... yet, but he sees she's very affected by Nightmare Moon. Right now he assumes Moonflower was at the Summer Sun Celebration and saw Nightmare Moon there which terrified her.
