Awfully cute. I particularly like the lemon pep talk.
Not that Equestria coheres well to physical principles we understand (apparently, water does not evaporate, leaves do not fall, etc.) but I can't read this and not mention that the problem with boiling at high altitudes is that fluids boil too easily, which is to say, at a much lower temperature than they do at ground level, which is why high-altitude cooking directions specify longer cook times.

Awww, this was cute! Short and sweet, love love love! Especially good for only two hours of writing time! However, this is getting on my baker's OCD, so I'll just stick this here for anypony cooking like Rainbow Dash (Hey, my now-nineteen-year-old brother once tried to make frosting with regular sugar)-
"Lemon zest" means the shredded peel of the lemon. Just grate it like...cheese.
It's impossible to boil dry ingredients, unless they're really gooey, like marshmallows.
You really need to set the oven for the temperature it says to, otherwise you'll get a charred mess.
Meringues are crazy-difficult to make. I strongly recommend cookies or something for a first-timer.
