well, it's interesting to see that Eric seems to have had his memory erased, for some reason, and he is now treated as a regular Ponyville citizen all the while still has his mind control powers. I wander why Celestia didn't just send him to Tararus in chained and find a way to stop him mind control powers or just out right kill him to not give him any chance of him doing all he did again. It seems that Ponyvilliens also suffered from memory tempering like Erick and are wholly ignorant about what Eric did to them not so long ago, which feels as worst if he was killed. It seems that the memory wipe or block is not entirely infallible, that there is a possibility of a relapse for him and the Princesses decided that this new Eric can't be trusted enough or potentially too dangerous to be left without any supervision from Discord or the M6 always at a hooves length from him and that Celestia is always ready to do regular check up on him. Eric still has his powers fully intact and not sealed, and can be inadvertently trigger by him wither he wants to or not. I wander if the Princess think that his powers are too valuable be just killed and might have his uses later in life. I wander if the Princess are aware that he was under the influence of an other greater being and that he was just a pawn of it and his actions where influenced by not his own. I wander if Eric is free of its influence and that if he had the chance to get his memory back could feel regret of what he did back then.

interesting so far, for a guy that has supposedly had his memories erased and reformed it doesn't seem that the guy has a lot of qualm in casually using his mind control powers to get other to do the work for him.
