A Sugarcoat/Adagio and a Sonata/Sour Sweet fic would be nice as well.

Are you a native Spanish speaker by chance? It's just your heavy use of the subjunctive mood is odd and a bit off putting in English, but would be perfectly normal in Spanish.

7512265 You're not far from the truth. Not Spanish, but a close neighbour lol. But learning English was abit strange for me growing up. But, this is how i've always written things - from a prospect of first-person within my own mind. Hope you enjoyed it regardless.

It didn't bother me, per se. But it is noticeable and does pull one out of the story a bit. We Germanic types expect things to be a bit more concrete. Whether someone would do something is far less important than if they did. Even within one's mind, the "would 'x'" construction feels alien to an English speaker.
On a more positive note, this was the only real clue I had to your not being a native speaker. It's just a particularly glaring one.

Going to the whole "english second language" thing mentioned above, you might do well to find an english speaking editor to help brush up this.
As is, it's really hard and clunky to read.
