Good to hear it; it looked like it was more of a crossdressing fic by the cover, and I wondered whether it really ought to be in the transgender group. I find it interesting that Dusk's primary exploration of his gender so far has been through autogynephilia; I think that might make it more confusing for him down the line if he figures out it's something more than that.

As a long time trans ally who hasn't seen a lot of really great treatment of the subject (especially in Mature fics), I have some reservations, but I'm enjoying the writing so far, and any qualms I have could already be on the way to being resolved in further chapters.

8116072 I think that the issues is that Dusk has been so focused on his studies, that he never really was able to develop his sexuality beyond preferring stallions. Everything else is just compounding matters since he is so sexually repressed that he never thought to look into it and to talk to Solaris and Artemis about it. As far as Artemis not noticing, I am certain that he has. However since he is over a thousand years out of touch, he might not know how to handle it gently as to help rather than harm.

8115740 Dusk's experience with discovering himself is kind based off my own road of discovery which was at least for the first while very much denial and grasping at straws of perceived normalcy. The only real accounts I have of people going through this are of ones who kind of had roughly the same road as me and ended up in the BDSM community one way or another where we finally found like minded people and proper guidance. As for going back to blitz, I think I could probably have been a bit clearer about him being nervous and scared to after his outburst.
