Hooves Like Jagger

The thought "Oh no, not this guy again," given human form.

E

It's been a crazy Hearts and Hooves Day for Cheerilee and Big Macintosh thanks to the antics of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. It's been a while since the two have had a chance to catch up, so they use their picnic at the gazebo to talk. Turns out there is a good deal to talk about.

An interesting little story. I had a bit of trouble following it until the style was fleshed out a bit, but it was good. The disconnectedness gave it a definite feel of thinking.

Anyways, good little fic.

for you good person :pinkiehappy:

Man, that was so deep, I was recalling memories (good and bad) from past relationships. Love is a fickle emotion. You can love without being in love, but can you be in love without loving? If I knew the answer to that, those past relationships would be more than just memories.

You're a great writer. The way you tell the story - a story where barely nothing happens, but where realizations might have been made (I'm not sure) - is excellent. The recurring themes and phrases, who mean new things every time they are used, but new things based on what you've already established, meander in a sort of labyrinth that requires slow reading, but it is all worth it.

Wow,It make me think about all my fail relationship.:twilightoops:
Great job by the way.

Just wanted to say I thought about your story and worked up the courage to call my ex-fiance. We spent most of the day talking about what happened with us, I apologized for being a jerk and she apologized for being too pushy. Looking back, the two of us parallel Big Mac and Cheerilee. (she's actually a teacher too)
I'm keeping any hopes at bay that we pick up where we left off, but I'm glad that we could sit down and talk after almost two years of silence.
Thanks for giving me the strength to do that.

Crap... I always imagine all the fantastic things I'll say when something I write has an impact on someone, but I can't remember any of them now. All I want to do is thank you in turn for thinking seriously about something I wrote. I'm not someone people take seriously often, so I really can't thank you enough.

You don't owe me anything as an author. But I'll accept the gratification since events have moved beyond the stage and audience. Keep doing what you're doing though. There's something with these ponies that bring out the best in all (maybe just most) of us. My story continuing after yours ends is proof of that.

God, I hate ambiguous endings. :twilightangry2:

Don't hate the story, though. :trollestia:

Loved the story! Probably the top three stories I've read on fimfiction.
The ending though...:fluttershysad: it just kind of ended...:fluttercry: I didn't get closure.:raritycry:

This was nice.

So past CheeriMac... well still well done, looks like another to add to the CheeriMac group
