Vinyl and Octavia may be total opposites but opposites attract when they like each other. There's one little problem, they are both oblivious to each others feelings for one another. They are afraid of what others might think. They want to be each other without realizing it but yet they don't want to. One day, Vinyl invites Octavia to a nightclub to ask her out. Octavia thinks that Vinyl might ask her out yet she thinks she won't. This is Octavia's first time but so far things go well until Vinyl introduces Octavia to one of friends. When a few misunderstandings occurred, they thought it was too late to tell the other "I love you.".

I'm a huge Octascratch fan and I do not like NeonScratch at all, and the ending was a little bitter and disappointing,
but the story was still enjoyable, aside from a few grammar mistakes and some plot holes, the character interactions were great especially with Lyra and Bon Bon, and I love that little cameo with Berry Punch! Also thanks for helping me discover Secret Love Song, I love the song so far!
Now... all that's left is to wait for the sequel

Thanks you so much for liking it. I'm an OctyScratch supporter too and I'm not a fan of NeonScratch and see them as co workers/ Friends. I'm not really that good with choice of vocabulary and I don't have anyone to proof read it.
No worries about the bittersweet ending. I feel you. I'm not a big fan of sadfics myself. The sequal will come out as soon as I can.

On an unrelated note, for everyone who is reading the fanfic, I want your guys ideas for which Mlp characters should compete in master chef besides strawberry sunrise and applejack. You see, I wrote a fanfic about Applejack and strawberry sunrise having a bake off and I'm doing a sequal where it's going to be a full length comepetiton. I enjoyed the concept, the idea of this story.
The execution of it, however, is a bit lacking. Things seem to flow in a hurried and unnatural fashion, and more than a bit of "sloppy" writing. "Sloppy" in regards to grammar and structure, although I am no great language expert. I do, however, recognize a need to sharpen up your skill set.
That being said, keep at it. You clearly have good ideas, you just need to hone your skills as a writer. And, as I've said to others, you've got a good "hook". A good hook will forgive many things, although it is perhaps less effective in the one-shot format. Don't get discouraged, keep practicing, and your good ideas will shine.
