Sequels1

E

This story is a sequel to A Girl's Best Friend

It's been weeks and Rainbow Dash STILL doesn't have her power. The only thing she's looking forward to now is the class trip to Manehattan. But when a conspiracy is taking place aboard the same train she and her friends are on she'll have to be faster than the wind to get her and her friends to safety.

Not much I can say that I haven't already said in the other reviews to your stories. Still, it bears repeating; excellent work on the start of your latest story. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter content are, of course, quite well done in all the right places. I particularly liked Rainbow's imagination spot at the very start of the chapter . I will also be quite looking forward to more of this, but will also more than respect if real world concerns need to come first.

Thanks!

And BTW: It's not an imagination spot.

You're quite welcome.

And thanks for the correction.

Once again, great job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked the students' reactions to having to be up that early and Rainbow's meeting with A.K. Yearling .

I will, of course, be eagerly awaiting more, but will respect if real world concerns get in the way.

Don't worry about that. With the holidays here, I'm on break and have plenty of time to write.

Still thanks for the consideration!

You're quite welcome.

Again, VERY good job on this latest chapter. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places are all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked the scene with Rainbow denying seeing Yearling to that pursuer as well as Sunset picking the lock on Yearling's case .

Once again, I'll most certainly be looking forward to more of this.

I didn't know the inspiration because I'm not familiar with the source material. Still, it DOES, indeed, make for an excellent story, even WITHOUT source material knowledge. Also, once again, you did an excellent job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked how Rainbow convinced Daring to let her help .

Well, on to the next chapter. :-D

And, once again, superb work on this latest chapter. The exchanges, action, characterizations and future chapter set-up are quite well done in all the right places. I particularly liked Rainbow's role in that pick-up as well as Callberon's show of desperation which will almost certainly lead to a Nice Job Fixing It, Villain .

Indeed, I will very certainly be looking forward to the climax.

Rainbow clutched the suitcase and felt helpless. She was all alone in the middle of nowhere while her friends' and hero were on the same train as the bad guy!
No! She couldn't end it like this! She suddenly felt something stir inside her and she knew what she had to do.
She jumped off the platform onto the dirt and began to run.

...what? I couldn't decide which clip to use

😄 you're welcome

Again, EXTREMELY good job on this chapter. The exchanges, characterizations, action, general wrap-up and epilogue set-up are all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked Rainbow's fight with the goon disguised as the engineer AND the detail of the spare set of instructions for handling the train . Well, on to the last chapter.

Superb job on the epilogue. And thank you for liking one of my dialogue ideas enough to use something inspired by it. I really appreciate that. :-D

At any rate, the exchanges and characterizations were well done and the future adventure set-up is great too. I'll definitely be curious as to what you come up with for Twi's power (as I said, all I know is that it won't be telekinesis because she already has that ability to a respectable degree in this universe).

Anyway, yeah, final story in this arc coming soon and I'll most assuredly be eagerly looking forward to it. :-D

Thank You! :pinkiehappy:

....are you sure your not a professional reviewer?:raritywink:

Do any undead appear in this story?

Meanwhile, in the Lair at Canterlot High, the Element of Loyalty began beeping...

Oh, and we even got the Element that goes 'bing'! :pinkiegasp:

That's my favorite one...:pinkiehappy:

Meanwhile, in the Lair at Canterlot High, the Element of Loyalty began beeping...

Omg! I knew it! It’s a detonator in disguise!
