It was incredibly rare to find a pony so pathetic and deprived of love and affection that they’d turn to somepony like him for comfort. Love, Stygian realised, and everypony’s selfish desire for it, had bestowed him with a sense of normalcy.
Note: In this story, a little bit of darkness is still in Stygian, becoming some sort of a negative second personality that influences him.

God, that was so deep and a very good insight into Stiygan's character, and yet so disturbing at the same time. In some ways, it sorta reminds me of Necromancy for Foals, not sure why, but it does. Masterful work.

That was an interesting take on what I would classify as "chaotic good". I like it; It's a bit dark and disturbing in a way, but I like it!
