I like reading stories more than writing them, but I thought I'd give writing a shot anyway.

This story is a sequel to Friendship

It's been roughly two decades after the defeat of Tirek and Equestria has entered an unparalleled age of Peace and Harmony. However, like all good things, it comes to an end. While together in Canterlot to celebrate Spike's birthday, a familiar face emerges as a new threat to Equestria. His first attack took everypony by surprise and it left many hurting, but Twilight Sparkle took it the hardest.

It's been a month since that day. Can Twilight find the confidence in herself to face this new threat?

A Prequel to Ekhidna's Two-Shot, "Friendship."

So it's basically a dark version of Spike? At least that's the way I see it XD It's a cool idea. πŸ˜„

I just upright kill off Spike in my story, after Dead Meat saves him from saving Twilight, they both get stabbed in their guts by a magical blast in the form of an arrowhead. XD The young dragon has given his final fiery breath lol 😊

I like this idea of yours and Ekhidna's, better than mine.πŸ˜„

Thanks so much for the kind words. If you haven't read "Friendship" already, I highly suggest you do it. This story only highlights a small portion of time that Ekhidna talks about in his story. Basically, when I read "Friendship" for the first time, I wondered to myself, "Why didn't he go into more detail about this particular moment. I think it would make for some good writing." So, I took it upon myself to do it. Glad you liked it. Stay tuned for Part 2!!

I agree, I just read that one too, an evil Spike Ekhidna should have gone into more detail about, but I still enjoyed it. 😊

I'll see how part 2 of this one goes. πŸ˜„

Yeah. I had this story from Twilight’s perspective, since Ekhidna had Spike handled.

That's cool. πŸ˜„ She knows Spike is in there. ^^

But yeah, looking forward to reading the rest. πŸ˜„

Good to see this up! I'm sure part two will be just as good.
