When I say he 'can't feel pain', that's because his body is made of metal, so his body has no nerves and is therefore incapable of feeling anything, including pain. When he became Steelhoof however, his mind is perfectly capable of feeling pain, although his thick 'skull' usually prevents any head trauma. I hope this helped!
