Seeing how everyone is human, I wished Spike was a anthro dragon or human.
Since it really comes off as he's just a lower being/pet(especially by being designated as a familiar) instead as a true equal.
I just hate seeing he's not truly equals.
And him being humiliated by Celestia just hurts..

I guess Spike doesn't count as his own person since he's a lowly familiar?
So dragons are supposed to non-sapient? That really makes Spike a lower being though..
The fact he is taken out by the Tyrant Dragon really done him dirty..
He's a dragon and yet he lost to it and a rematch is impossible just screwed him
He really shouldn't be brushing this loss that easy.
He's a dragon and yet was unable to defeat a fellow dragon due to easily getting beaten and needed Twilight and AJ to soley beat the Tyrant Dragon instead.
Its really humiliating for him.
Three though, does Spike not count?
Not even being acknowledged made his loss more humiliating.
