On normal circumstances that would be true, but the thing that caused Antonio to go 'pop' was a Lord of Changes. If you read a little into the lore about psykers and what a Lord of Change can do, then what happened to Antonio is not out of the realm of possibility.

That last part was fucking hilarious. I'm looking forward to more from this fic. That being said, I hope you keep any crossovers noncanon, usually it's the crossovers that end up causing displaced stories to fail, mostly because the author actually integrates them into the story and it leads to a total clusterfuck of weird narratives combining together, especially when the crossovers are collaborative efforts.
