All I can say is - wow. Definitely feeling bad for Twilight, Spike and Light for how they got bullied, but I can understand that it's important to the plot. So, Twi is a unicorn/dragon hybrid (and Shining is too), Spike is an earth pony who is more magically capable than most and Light is an alicorn with some quite understandable issues of his own. And, I have to say, I AM glad to see those bullies getting their comeuppance and that scene with Twilight's family was pretty sweet stuff.
Anyway, great job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places.
Well, on to the next chapter.

Greatly adored this chapter. LOVED the trio's arrival in MoonRacer (as well as Twilight and Light's both having really good reasons they never learned to fly). And Twi's theories concerning such things as illusions and pocket dimensions were understandable under the circumstances. The first meetings with this universe's versions of the rest of the Mane Six (along with several others) were great material.
Pinkie is part-Diamond Dog, Applejack is half-buffalo, Rarity is part-Changeling (though is embarrassed by it, so she LOOKS mostly unicorn), Rainbow Dash is half-griffon and Fluttershy is part-Kirin).
And the chats with Buster, Speed, Bubbly, Sleipinir and the others so far definitely bring up some really intriguing stuff and possibilities.
And, again, the exchanges, characterization and future chapter set-up are all quite well done and I'm DEFINITELY going to be looking forward to more of this.

I’m really liking them and liking your choices of the halfbreeds that you chose for the mane 6. I also like the thing with the kings children being named after and being like the children of Loki. I’m surprised you didn’t go with that name for him. Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for them.
I’m also interested in seeing how the villains from the show work in this universe. Are they just disgruntled creatures sick of Pony racism. How will MoonRacer deal with people like Discord, Tirek and Chrysalis

How do the other races feel about Crossbreeds? I can picture some species not also not liking it (eg Dragons, Griffins) but I can picture some being more accepting of them (eg Buffalo, deer, Changelings)

I can’t say I’m fond of their initiation ceremony. Tying someone up without prior consent is a huge problem in my mind. And when tickles get involved it can be hard to tell ‘all in good fun’ begging for mercy from this isn’t fun anymore, you’re hurting me.
I know if someone tried to tie me up odds are good they would get hurt. Broken wrist, broken nose, something like that.
Not a complaint about the story, this isn’t the first nor worst place I’ve seen this.
