Not bad.
Too short, too abrupt, too sudden to give us an ending like this. Sad =/= bad but casting Twilight off a proverbial cliff with almost no setup is too much to swallow, given that the story's marked Complete. If it were Incomplete then we could at least hope for some backstory or resolution.
1168240 Thanks for the feedback, this was meant as a test for myself to see what I could come up with for a story without a back story or definitive resolution. I wasnt too pleased with the outcome but hey, I learnt from it.
Huh. That was... a nicely unclear ending. I couldnt tell if Twilight was going to kill herself or just hurt herself enough to make Celestia leave. If that's the way you designed the story, grweat. If not, please tell me which I hate not having resolution.
Edit: Just reread the last bit. When I saw "get to her" the first time, I thought it meant she was trying to get it through Celestia's head that she needed to leave. Now this is sad....

As a piece of a larger story, I like it. I'd love to see part 2, "Twilight and Celestia in the afterlife", or better yet, part 2: "Luna chooses Trixie to be the next Element of Magic, while ghost Celestia and ghost Twilight tag along to be their unseen guides."

It's never stated outright that she commits suicide, I deliberately left the story before then so that the readers could imagine what they wanted, if they wanted Twilight to commit suicide then that's what happened. If they wanted the doctor to bust back in and pimp slap insanity out of her, that happened too!
