The Birth of Potion Nova

Meet Potion Nova!

It was a nice sunny day at Wonderbolts HQ, as Rainbow and her fellow teammates were wrapping up training for the day, and getting their stuff at their locker room.

“Spring training was awesome, but I can't wait to see my friends!” Rainbow said excitedly as she got her jacket out and put it on, as she closed her locker door. “I'm gonna catch up on some Daring Do with Twilight, help Applejack make my favorite cider, and have a sleepover with Pinkie, Spike and Starlight!”

“We get it.” Misty Fly said, uninterested and sarcastically. “You have a fun week planned.” She then noticed Rainbow’s bulging belly. “Uh, Crash? You look like you gained a lot of pounds the last few weeks.” She said confused. “What is going on?”

“Well, I’m pregnant.“ Rainbow explained, which made the latter shocked.

“That’s unbelievable!” Misty Fly said in surprise. “Who knocked you up?!”

“Well, Spike and Starlight Glimmer knocked me up.” Rainbow explained bluntly.

“But, Spike’s a baby dragon!” Misty Fly pointed out. “And Starlight’s the princess of Friendship’s pupil!”

“Dizzy, Spike’s 19 years old.” Rainbow said bluntly again.

Misty Fly was surprised at that. “Really?” She asked. “Because I thought he still looked young for his age.”

“Yeah!” Rainbow Dash said. “He still is like a cuddly dragon to be around. But, we might have the baby soon. And I think I might break my wa—“ Suddenly, Rainbow felt like her belly was tearing itself apart as water flowed through the cut. “Ooooh! I’m having another stomach pain! I’m not sure if it’s something I had! Whoa!” She collapsed on the floor.

Misty Fly was shocked as she saw this happen. “Crash! Are you okay?” She asked in shock.

At that moment, Spitfire came in and saw her cadet writhe in pain on the floor. She spat out her whistle. “What is going on?!” She asked as she rushed in there. “Crash, what’s going on?”

“My...water....just...Bro—!” She groaned in pain on the floor.

Misty Fly gasped. “Oh my god!” She said. “Her water broke!”

“Spitfire!” Rainbow gasped for breath, as she leaned toward her. “Get Starlight and Spike! Go!” Spitfire nodded and rushed out to get her friends.

She came back a few seconds later with her friends. “We came as soon as we could!” Starlight said. “What’s going on?”

“Rainbow’s going into labor!” Misty Fly said, pointing to the writhing pony on the floor.

Both were shocked as they knew what this would mean! “Let’s take you to the hospital!” Starlight said as she grabbed her front hooves and Spike grabbed her back hooves. “Let’s go, Spike!”

She teleported them to the hospital and she got wheeled over to the delivery room. They both followed in while she was panting really hard, trying to collect her breath and give birth.

Starlight and Spike both looked at her and themselves with great worry. “Hey, Doctor! Is she going to be alright?” Starlight asked worriedly.

“She’s pregnant.” The doctor said. “All she needs to do now is push and and breathe in and out.”

Rainbow breathed really hard in and out as her friends were watching her, feeling worried. She pushed, and punished and breathed in and out really hard until finally, a white unicorn head came out, followed by a body and hooves and a tail. Starlight and Spike were both happy that the baby came out and Rainbow smiled upon seeing her for the first time.

“Congratulations!” The doctor said. “It’s a girl! What would you like to name her?”

The baby appeared to be a white unicorn filly with a glossy rainbow mane, and she had moderately dragon teeth. She opened her eyes and smiled.

“She’s so cute!” Starlight said as she saw how cute the baby looked.

“I agree with Starlight.” Spike said. “She does look pretty.”

Just then, a voice called out in shock and worry. “RAINBOW!!!” It was Scootaloo! She rushed inside Rainbow’s delivery room, and saw her holding her new baby.

“Scootaloo!” Starlight said in excitement. “Shh. Rainbow just had her baby.”

Scootaloo saw the baby and how beautiful she looked. Rainbow saw her and smiled. “Hey, Scoot!” She said. “Want to hold the baby?”

Scootaloo was shocked as she heard that her sister idol had a baby. She stood there shocked for a few seconds, and then nodded. Rainbow carefully handed the baby over to her, and the filly took her in her arms. The baby smiled and giggled at her. “Awwwww.” She said, smiling sweetly at her. “She looks so adorable.”

“She sure does.” Spike said, as he smiled at her as well. “What would you like to name her?”

“Actually, I thought Rainbow Dash could do the honors.” Scootaloo said, as she turned to her big sister.

“We haven’t thought of a name yet.” Rainbow said, looking at her friends who were also unsure about what to name her.

“We haven’t given it much thought.” Starlight said as she looked at Spike, and then at Rainbow.

“What should we name her?” Spike asked, curious and excited to his wives as they were thinking of a name to give her.

Scootaloo saw the baby and how she looked, and smiled. “How about Nova.” She said sweetly. “PotIon Nova.”

The three mates looked at each other and smiled. They thought it was a good name as well. “Potion Nova.” Rainbow said, as she looked at the others who nodded in agreement. “That sounds like a great name.”

“It sure does!” Starlight agreed. “And she looks a lot like you, Rainbow...for the mane.”

“And, she has tiny dragon teeth.” Spike said, pointing the the baby as she gave a teeth smile, revealing her tiny sharp teeth.

“I was hoping she’d be an alicorn.” Rainbow said. “But, seeing her as a unicorn it’s a few of our traits is just as awesome!”

“I think she’ll be a great addition to your family.” Scootaloo said as she saw the baby and smiled at them. “I can’t wait to show her my moves, and play with her soon.”

The others shared a giggle, as they embraced each other and the baby, who was smiling and giggled at them sweetly. “Mama.” She said.

The others gasped in excitement as they heated her say that. “She said her first word.” Rainbow said, holding her gently.

“Our daughter.” Spike and Starlight said as they nuzzled playfully with her, which Potion Nova loved.

“We’ll love her with all our hearts.” Rainbow said as Starlight, Spike and Scootaloo all surrounded her with love, praise and affection for the new bundle of joy. “Welcome to the world, Potion Nova.” She said sweetly. “We’ll show you how great it is to have a family and friends.”

Potion Nova giggled sweetly as she snuggled up to her moms, big sister and dad as she would be welcomed into an awesome 20% cooler family, who would make friends, and become a potionprentice to a certain alicorn very soon. She would have an awesome life with friends, family and an even special surprise with Twilight soon in the future.

(Meanwhile, In the Pony Life world...)

“I’m G4 Rainbow Dash, Starlight Glimmer & Spike’s daughter?!“ Potion Nova said in shock as she remembered in realization who her parents were.

Pony Life Rainbow Dash & Fluttershy gasped in shock when she revealed to the Pony Life 6 who her parents were. Pony Life Twilight Sparkle did a spit take to try to process this information in her head that JUST came through. “You’re parents are the G4 versions of Rainbow Dash, Starlight Glimmer and Spike?!” She asked in shock.

“We’re the parents to WHO now?” Pony Life Rainbow Dash asked in total shock and confusion.

Potion Nova sighed. “I never realized who my parents were in this world.” She said. “I thought I was just a free roaming pony, just giving out potions to you all.”

Pony Life Rainbow’s mind clicked as she now knew what she was talking about. “Ooh. Our other versions are your parents.” She said in realization and calmness. “Very chill.“

“This is not chill at all!” Potion Nova said in shock as she rushed over to her, shaking her. “This revelation is the most surprising memory I remember that called itself sweet! Most orphaned ponies find out too late about this with their heads hung low after they’re gone!” She started to hyperventilate, not knowing what else she would handle.

Pony Life Rainbow intervened quickly by grabbing her cheeks together and saying some words to calm her down. “Stop... focus... be still.” she said calmly, smiling at her. She released her cheeks.

Potion Nova got her bearings together, but was still under a lot of stress of her parents’ revealing. “Maintaining a graphed family tree workspace is vital!“ she said seriously to her friends, who all felt worried while looking at her and wanting to help. “Anyways, I might need you to help me with finding out about all this, and—“

“No pressure...” Pony Life Twilight Sparkle said, trying to stay calm. “...but maybe, we think this might be a good time to take five.“ the rest of the Pony Life 6 all nodded in agreement with what this Twilight was saying.

Potion Nova groaned in shock and stress as she shattered into millions of pieces on the floor like this Twilight would. Pony Life Pinkie Pie’s pet alligator gummy was using his vacuum cleaner to clean up the floor, and sucked up the broken-pieced potion maker into the vacuum.

“Well, We lost Potion Nova.” Pony Life Applejack said to the readers as their friend got sucked up in the machine after breaking down under pressure.

It would be a tough ride of surprise and shock for Potion Nova as she found out who her parents were and how she was born. The Pony Life 6 would try to help her with finding out more about her past and how she came to be. But no matter what happened, they would get through it together...even if there were a few hiccups involving cupcakes, potions, funny moment, and even crazy contraptions along the way.

And, that was how Rainbow Dash, Starlight Glimmer & Spike’s daughter, Potion Nova came to be.

How about this: If Hasbro decides to do something with Potion Nova in the upcoming Season 2 of Pony Life and reveal her to be evil all along.... then I will say that I was right the first time around and KNEW that she was not to be trusted.

However: If by the end of Season 2 and Pony Life overall of which Hasbro doesn't do that aforementioned thing up above for Potion Nova, then you can mock me all you want knowing that I was so wrong about her being evil. Though of course.... I will just shrug it off and ignore it, given that Pony Life is likely to be forgotten anyways when G5 begins later on this year. :/
