After the royal sisters draw their Hearth's Warming festivities to a close, Princess Luna frets over her inability to recall the names of the ponies around her. While it's only been a few months since her return, the effects of the Nightmare continue to surface in unexpected ways. To ease her concerns, she tests the limits of her knowledge with the help of her night sky, only to contend with her memories from the last year alone.
Takes place concurrently with Electro Swing Chapter 13: Winter Melody.
Contains no major spoilers for Electro Swing and can be read alone.

A beautiful story. It makes sense that Celestia would joyfully throw her sister into modern society and traditions, unintentionally not leaving Luna much time to take acclimate and get to know people. It really would hit hard on Hearthswarming, given how little time has passed for her and how much for the world. It's really nice to see her making new friends.

Glad you enjoyed it. I was channeling a bit of IRL winter blues at the time. Japan might as well be a world away on the holidays during COVID times. I wrote this with one thought in my mind that mirrored my own desires this past holiday season: Luna wants a hug.

Holy smokes, this story threw my heart in the gutter. I can't believe I never envisioned Luna constantly thinking of all of the unfinished stories and friendships she left behind, everypony she cared for and understood her.
