The Griffonian Empire falls, due to traitors within, and enemies without. Grover VI, the deposed emperor, is forced to flee from his home. As his situation continues to deteriorate, he will be forced to confront the sins of his house, and the graciousness of his sworn enemies.

Well alright, the story's moving quick and I'm interested. Most stories don't deal with Griffonia collapsing, so there's a unique angle here. Not sure what's the point of dragging Grover back to Canterlot for a trial, but there's some interesting dynamics that can come of it; it's pretty clear that he didn't have any real power or authority because he's just a kid.

There really needs to be more EAW stories. This story and this story are some of my favorites because of how interesting the developers of EAW have made the world of MLP.
