I don't know what happened, but this shadow knight's luck is pumped to the maximum. To be wounded in the forest to meet a good wolf who is able to bring help, you need to be unrealistically lucky.

he could only think about was finding Chrysalis and his little sister Cadenza.

Wow. Even despite the description of the story, it was unexpected. Wasn't Cadence a Pegasus before becoming an alicorn?

I'll explain that later. As for the wolf. It's my favorite animal and I'm planning on giving it a name from mythology. Bet you can guess which one. As for shadow knight, it will all come together in the coming chapters

A thousand years?! Cadance?! But what about my sister? What happened to her?! And What about Chrysalis?โ€™ He wondered. Before he could ask anything.

Did Shadow guess that Cadance mentioned is his sister?

The meeting happened faster than I expected.

it seems that Shadow has unreasonably strong and dishonest magic, which can significantly reduce the degree of concern for his fate.

Sorry if I made it seem that way. I'll need to go back and edit it so there is more detail. But to clarify he is using joint locks to prevent movement and the shadows around their horns is what is preventing them from using magic. Think about when Sombra messed with Shinnings horn and he couldn't use magic in the series remember? This only worked the way it did because they didn't know anything about his brand of magic and he used that to his advantage. But again I need to go back and add more detail so others aren't confused. BTW the 'shadow restraint' spell was inspired by the anime Naruto when Shikamaru fought Tayuya and restraind her in a similar manner.๐Ÿ™‚

Now that I think about it, there really is a resemblance to Shikomaru's shadow grip. But his ability only affects his own shadow (and the shadows with which this shadow is connected.) And has a lot of drawbacks. While here I got the impression that he can control all the shadows in principle. Which theoretically makes any aponent helpless because you canโ€™t hide or hide from your own shadow.
:)

Is the main villain someone who can use light as a weapon?

The main villain is Sombra. I plan on him showing up in later chapters.

for some reason I thought that these Storm Lance and Dawn Breakers were the ancestors of Twilight because they went to live in Canterlot.

Given the above, can Spike be called a familiar? The whole description fits perfectly.

In the MLP, dragons are not considered animals. Familiar's are animals that are generally kept as pets, such as canines, felines, birds ect. or the magical creatures within the world. An example of this would me a manticore or a kimera, but not dragons. Hope this clears thing up. I will go back and edit the chapter to make it more clear. Sorry for the confusion.

in the world of magic, a plot is actually common in which a sorcerer tries to take sentient beings as a familiar. In wow, the warlock has almost all demon familiars with intelligence.
By "kimera" did you mean "chimera"? but after all, a chimera in the MLP world is also reasonable and, in terms of intelligence, will somewhere be at the level of griffins.

Ok, a couple of things
1) I did mean chimera. I wasn't sure how to spell it when I was replying and use speech to text. Hence the spelling.
2) the point I was trying to make was in the version of the MLP world I've created familiars are non-anthro creatures. Griffins, dragons ponies, changelings and the like cannot become familiars.

have all sentient beings from the world of mlp become anthropomorphic in your universe?

11592275
Only the main races that can talk in the show. So, yes? Isn't that normal in this kind of fan-fic?

11592321
I don't really know exactly how it works in the show. For example, cows are an intelligent talking race, but pigs and sheep are not. Chimeras are sentient and talkative, while hydras and manticores are not. Despite the fact that the transition to the "anthro" system only makes more confusion, it seems to me that it is necessary to separate reasonable and not reasonable. (Though let's just put the fact that the Chimeras just aren't talking as one of the unique things about your universe.)
