A strange phenomenon has overtaken Ponyville and its number of residents is effectively doubled because of it. Every pony wakes up to find a complete stranger in their room, and the mane-six in particular are introduced to a bunch of peculiar ponies.
Applejack decides to head out and ask Ponyville's resident scientist and librarian for an explanation on what's going on. It doesn't take long for Twilight to figure out who and what the extra ponies are.
Things seem to be working out for a while, however, after a few days it becomes evident that Ponyville is not compatible with the large amount of newcomers. Mayhem ensues, and (naturally) it's up to the mane-six to find a solution to the problem.

I hate it when authors do this. They put just enough content to get the story going, but not enough for anyone to actually tell if it's worth following.

idea is okay but i cant wait to see what the other elements are going to react.
My one problem is that 'he' is an 'alicorn' rather than one of the other races (be funny if the other elements had example unicorn with Fluttershy or a pegasus with Twilight), but if you got plans for the reasoning behind the species, then i'm all ears.
You had my curiosity, now you have my attetnion.
Let's see what you can do with this story. Also, I'm not a fan of alicorn OC's, but give it at least a chance. Don't disappoint me, please.
Generally when you start a story you shouldn't stop on the first chapter...
