The contents of a journal, recovered from the home of Wallflower Blush. One of few items found relatively undamaged at the location. Several pages are missing, but a few key entries remain, almost as if they were spared intentionally.
Copies have been made of the entries, and the original is being sent to our friends on the other side of the portal, where they can contain it and scan it for any dark magic. We need to make sure that this doesn't happen again.

About time that over liked background scenery got what she deserved.
That was a good story.
I have to appreciate a Wallflower genre-savvy enough to recognize her background character status, but not enough to see the obvious warning signs with the stone that oozes darkness and whispers into her mind. Ending an epistolary story like this is downright evil, though the description does a lot to fill in the blanks. Sadly.
