I'm not much of a fan of shipping, but I have to say this was excellent. The writing was good, it was well-paced, and I think you captured the emotions of the characters perfectly.

But wow... This is the first Celestia/Discord fic I've read, and it's wonderful. I've avoided them in the past, simply out of a lack of seeing the reason behind it, but this is amazing. Sad, touching, and wonderful.
