This story is a sequel to Keeping With Tradition

With Applejack out of town, Twilight takes Rarity on a date and uses the opportunity to breach a difficult subject. In turn, Rarity unearths some truths she’s never shed light on.

Another entry to my Transverse AU. Recommend you start at the beginning. This fic contains a single, slight use of needles!

As an autistic trans man myself, I immediately connected to Twilight and his experiences in this fic. The way you wrote him is both beautifully unique and still true to what makes Twilight... well, Twilight. Plus, his relationship with Rarity is so lovely. They both bring out the best in each other.

Thank you for the comment! I’m glad you thought that about Twilight and his relationship with Rarity. Means a lot since I spent so much time on this fic :)

Fun read, despite not usually a fan of EqG stuff, (I am a sucker for nerds and geeks), and it was interesting to see a trans man's POV, and I am sorry to hear about your treatment situation. I wish you the best for you.

Read though this whole au just now!! You've got a really good writing style and I love your takes on the characters!!

Thanks! That’s awesome to hear, and I appreciate the kind words :)

This was a fun fic! I’ve been really enjoying all of your transverse stories, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint. I had been somewhat hoping to see more of Twilight’s POV, and the way he and Rarity interact here is excellent! I’m sorry to hear about everything that went on during the writing of this, but I wish you luck in the future. Here’s to hoping things get better :)

Aw thank you so much! I’m glad youve enjoyed all of them. And thanks, it’s been hard but at the same time it’s been better than it was before, so two steps forward one step back is still progress :)
