This broke my heart
I have mixed feelings about this story. I'm not normally a fan of stories that are significantly darker than the show, but I'm willing to look past that for stories that make good use of their dark tone. That being said, I feel like this story didn't do enough to justify its dark subject matter. There is no shortage of "Twilight feels sad about her dead friends" stories, and while your presentation of this one was good, it still felt a bit hollow, as it did not do anything to really stand out. I think if you had taken the time to flesh this out and add some more details, you could have had something here, but as it is, it just doesn't do enough to wow me.
