I'm already liking it. I think you have the dislikes because people didn't like the idea and haven't read your other stories more than because its a bad story - 'cause its not.

and i thought your stories couldn't get much crazier! guess i was wrong! I am very glad I'm wrong though, cause this is the kind of crazy that I enjoy!

I can only guess at the reasoning behind others disliking this. Perhaps they just aren't familiar enough with your characters and your stories, I can see how this could easily mess with peoples minds.

I, on the other hand, LOVE it! I nearly let slip a squee of pure joy when I received an alert for this.

yeah, don't know where all the hates coming from, so if anyone who disliked it reads the comments, some elaboration would be great.

this sounds like the philosopher's greatest worry and question, "Do i even exist, does my existence mean anything?"

My guess is this is some other mirrored world, but that wouldn't explain how sScrivenor, assuming it's the original one, got there, then again I kind of gave up on guessing how these shit-storms end after the second story :pinkiehappy::rainbowlaugh:

Thanks very much. I'm glad to hear you like the start of things here. I appreciate the fave, too, and if anything I'm just glad for the fact people are enjoying this more than I thought they would.

1370470

Thanks kindly, and for the fave, too. I hope you continue to enjoy the crazy. Things will really start going around Chapter 4 and I'm just. Very glad people are liking it more than I thought they would.

1370532

It's all good either way. I'm just pleased that people are liking it at all, since I did kind of. Yes.
Thanks very much, though, and I hope you continue to enjoy, as things really start moving around Chapter 4. I appreciate the fave, too.

I'm actually very interested to see if anyone guesses what's going on, and whether Scrivy is crazy or not. I hope it proves an enjoyable train ride into madness, though. Thanks kindly for the fave, too.

All aboard the crazy train!

(wow, now that I think about it, that's a pretty good analogy, considering there was a train crash and now everyone thinks scrivy is insane. Oh well, coincidences, all hail Ozzy!)

1371381 I still actually have to finish decretum before I'd try, I fell so far off the train I fell down a mountain and despite my wings and magic died. Now my fiance cries to sleep every night...

well, if he's not insane yet, theres a good chance he will be by the end of this story.

this is an auto-biography of you inside you'r special, writer's hell isn't it? Reliving all the terrible thing you've written, and strangely nostalgic despite all the sorrow, trying to find the breaks of sun in the overcast, dour sky.

If you went into a shrink's office, you'd likely walk out and the shrink would be insane.

Well I'm already taking guesses but I'll keep 'em to myself.

1372325

About halfway right. That is quite a good guess.

1373407

I get that a lot. And the real fun hasn't even started yet.

1375957

uhmm...yes...guessing the story....yes....that's what I was doing....

Uh oh... Scrivy seems to be calming down a fair bit now. I can tell that things are going to start snapping very shortly.:pinkiecrazy:

I really want to read this now but I must finish "Decretum" and "Love conquers all" first before I move onto this. :fluttercry:

1376416 When Scrivy, and assuming she *is* alive, Luna calm down people die, DON'T EVEN JOKE MAN! :trollestia:

1376462

:fluttercry:No! Not this realities Twilight! Or even Rainbow (mare) Dash!

That aside, I'm hoping against all odds that Sleipnir enters into this somehow.

you know, when i start to see normal stuff happening in your stories, it scares the hell out of me. Mostly because that usually means there's a shitstorm of epic proportions right around the corner. Starlit knights being an excellent example of this. everything seems calm, if a little gloomy, suddenly ragnarok and everybody's dead. so yah, scary.:pinkiegasp:

1376450

I'm just glad to hear you're still readin' through the Edda, since I know it's. Kind of a lot. And also crazy.
Thanks kindly for the fave, too.

well.....you were right about it picking up at chapter 4 anyway!:pinkiecrazy: but seriously, what the hell is going on here? Scrivy is really starting to look like he's insane...not good. It feels like there's something here that i should be seeing, but im not, especially with this mysterious figure popping up now, and frankly, him being insane doesn't explain how he had the combat ability to fight of and hang/bludgeon a changling to death. Either that or Im crazy!:pinkiecrazy: Oh well, its got me hooked, even if i know some events in it are going to make me cringe. Ill have to keep reading before i decide if this story is going to be worse than BLCA in terms of horrific events, but so far this isn't that bad,and that changeling had it coming.:pinkiecrazy:

And the 'black mire' hits the fan!

Is Nightmare Moon behind this? In a way it would make sense, but it just seems to convenient an answer. But sometimes the most convenient seeming solution is simply an alluring bit of bait for the web. Oh, this is getting good!

I have a good idea what going on here, it seems like this is a world made entirely up of memories, both bad and good, some implanted and some retained. The whole goal, if I hazard a guess, seems to be to make Scrivy turn 180 from who he was, and embrace a new personality and role, a role only a slippery serpent would be able to checkmate him into.

Or maybe I'm just trying too hard :pinkiecrazy:

1382544
in these stories, it could be all of the above, with a few extra out-of-nowhere plot twists pertaining to some seemingly irrelevant fact from earlier in the story or series thrown in for good measure. Or hes just crazy.:pinkiecrazy:

1382901 I'm so glad I ever found these stories, it seems like crazies gravitate to them! :pinkiehappy::pinkiecrazy:

1382912
I know right? The first MLP fanfic I ever read was Moonrise, so i have these stories to thank for getting me into the fandom. And, yes this section of the fandom does seem to be crazy corner, but with a story that blends Norse mythology with Ponies, any semblance of sanity has long ago packed its bags and taken off for an all expenses paid trip the bahamas. But that's good, because I find that crazy people tend to be more intelligent than average, and besides, "you can't help that, were all mad here."

kinky, and still standing by my latest idea.

Theres something just fundamentally...wrong about all of this, something not quite right. And now something's up with fluttershy too, which makes me nervous, cause' its always the quiet ones. This also kinda reminds me about how the Norns said that scrivy was supposed to end up with twilight ...mind you this isn't how I imagined it would happen...piercings...i just can't envision twilight with piercings. *shivers*

Something's definitely going on with Twilight. And Fluttershy... now I'm curious about that as well, I hope she shows up again soon to either confirm or disprove my rapidly growing suspicion.

1387169
Yeah, the nose ring was a little overboard.
And I know what you mean about the story having a sense of wrongness to it. Hopefully that's a plot hook rather than anything else.

Because no matter what you do, you will never be cool enough to beat someone to death while spouting soliloquy. :pinkiecrazy:

1387322
She seems to be WAY too interested in scrivener than is healthy. And this all started shortly after he was witnessed bludgeoning a changeling dangling from a noose to death. So very attractive. There's a plot point here somewhere, I just need to find it...

1387342
Perhaps, but I still think that the author's just dropping hints without actually revealing anything. All in all, we just don't have enough to go on yet.

1387364
And we likely won't get it till the very end either

Looks like fluttershy knows something we don't, dropping little hints like that, bad fluttershy!

I can't help but sit here and calmly smile to myself while this goes down, it may seem slightly sadistic and evil, but hell it makes for an interesting read. I'd almost say this story is advancing like clockwork.

I know I said I wanted Fluttershy to come back into the story... but this is not what I was expecting. I just hope that it wasn't Scrivener who did it whilst hallucinating.

Something is definitely going on just beneath the surface. Fluttershy mentioning Nirvana, Scrivy's hallucination of Twilight seeming more like Nightmare Moon, and Twilight looking "almost nervously at Rarity and Rainbow Dash" when she entered the library (that last one is probably just me grasping at straws though).

holy fuck...that moment when I realize the only person who I can think of off the top of my head to call her lover "puddin" is Harley Quinn from the batman series, and the killer of Fluttershy was a clown, and lately she's gone all grimdark and everything...

Oh god I see a shitstorm... brewing so hard right now...

1396695
wow...I totally didn't make the harlequin connection, and I really should have, cause I love batman. Twilight really is falling into the same kind of pattern that Harley Quinn did. Which means Scrivey is the Joker...which kind of fits him, really. What I want to know is why twilight is acting like this, going so far as to kill fluttershy, to keep her from telling scrivy something. And this whole feeding on pain thing, kind of reminds of a Tyrant Wyrm, or demon, or something like that. Damn this is getting dark! But I like it! How is it you manage to come up with such ingenious stories?

Yeah, glad I'm not the only one to see that. It's really starting to grate on the nerves. :applejackunsure:
Anyway, between the title, the clown outfit, and all the... stuff Twilight's been up to, I'm beginning to suspect that she's the one behind everything. Actually, I've been leaning that way a while, but this does quite a bit to confirm my suspicions.

But, on the bright side, we now know that Scriv's not crazy. Frabjous day. :pinkiecrazy:

I can honestly say I totally did not see that coming. It's certainly an interesting twist on "it was all a dream"

well...that was new....

But now I'm imagining some slow pan out from a small pool in the forest, slowly revealing the badly pixelated kingdom and all it's wonderful attractions, like the obligatory death mountain/cave. Before suddenly the screen grows dark and a faded golden logo appears sporting the words; "Antares Quest I" and the cautiously upbeat title music begins to prelude the adventures...

Oh well, sad to see Luna and Scrivy go, but Antare's POV will make things interesting at least. :pinkiehappy:

:rainbowderp:
I didn't expect that... well, I did and I didn't in ways. One of my very first theories was proven to be correct even though the thought made very little sense to me in the beginning. I didn't expect to be right about it, and I definitely did not expect Luna to be the 'culprit.' I assumed that this was the result of Nightmare Moon or a Tyrant Wyrm or some other creatures tampering.

Allonym was you in a way wasn't he? A stupendous way to end a story I must say. Though now I think I'd like to see the slice of 'heaven' that Luna was shown.

Now, onward to the future and more fun with Antares!

Aaaaand....
The author breaks the fourth wall. Disappointing.
Honestly, I didn't even read most of Allonym's monologue.
