A story very loosely tied to the 24/Jack Bauer advanced interrogations persona. Please be warned! Cover pic somewhat related...
After a few months of returning back from their great adventure in Monster World, the Mane Six have returned and lived somewhat normal lives. Until one night, a series of foal-nappings take place, and in the middle of it all, poor Granny Smith is found attacked and near the point of death. To make matters worse, the ones responsible only want one thing: Revenge. But without knowing anything more, the Royal Guards are baffled by this and only have a week before the first foal is returned, presumably not alive.
The Princesses are working as hard as they can, but sometimes, to get to the truth, you have to become a bit dark on your approach to things yourself. Enter P.D. Pie, the masked version of Pinkie's own Dark Side. Using everyone of her abilities, will she find the ones behind the attack of Granny Smith, find some of the fillies and colts, and above all, not get caught for obstruction of justice? Well, this is Pinkie we are talking about, so it's all possible!
Meant to be a light-hearted Dark-Comedy concerning the "Pinkamena Dianne" Pie personality Pinkie has. Plus, how could you resist a Pony using a Party-cannon to threaten a Unicorn's horn? Some limited gore, sorry, but I will use the Teen rating to its fullest extent! Please be aware I also will be parodying and describing many of the more gruesome torture techniques Mr. Bauer was know for.

First off, sorry to any Granny Smith fans. I really was tempted to do that scene towards Big Mac...but I couldn't at the last moment. I like him too much! Also, I love Fluttershy too, and that last scene...=(
I hope this came out as well as I originally envisioned. I truly am hoping to achieve a style close to tense moments of 24, but later, as light-hearted and Dark-revenge comedy as only Pinkie/PeeeeDeeeee PIIIIE! Can do so! As for her name? Yes, it is somewhat based on that annoying youtube guy, PewDeePie, my sister loves, but only for that part of her personality. A HUGE shout-out to Aegis Shield, for also making Pinkamena, not so evil...just Dark! Read his "Seeing the pattern" Trilogy!

One major change you'll see: It is not 24 hours, but rather, about a week, this story shall be told over. This is mainly due to distances involved, and other considerations. Please, feel free to comment if you want certain locales featured! I have Day 1 and 2 done, but 3 and on ward are still very much open!
My question. 24 had a lot of...unique ways, to torture terrorist in the show. What, my readers, do YOU want to see Pinkie do? Granted, I shan't be going too gory, or to a point beyond Teen rating. (I can, but I shall only do so should readers request it, and the rating will change should that come into play). I am limiting the killings, later on, as the consequences to these actions by the Princesses will be told by the end, and if she kills many, well, I only see her being banished.
Pinkie should not be banished!!!

Well, no. I put a pony/dragon hybrid that just happens to look like Rapidash, and have the same name as her! As far as I know, the pokemon is a full fire-horse, and is not partially scaly.
Blitzen is also based heavily on the Kirin from Monster Hunter as well. Initial version of my first story with him, included Spike finding him first, and realizes (perhaps not aloud) that one day, he could have children with Rarity, or whatever other pony one chooses to ship with him! (I don't mind, but am partial to Rarity personally)

Regardless, I had to fix the previous in the series first. Hopefully, things may make more sense.
Commentary: From 4,000 words to over 15,000 words...what did I create!?!
Well, this is much longer than the Prologue, but I surely hope that it was worth the extra day waiting! I don't plan on making the next few days as long, as this first day, my goal was to simply establish a few characters and customs and set up the world in a believable way.
Now, as you may noticed reading, there are a hell of a lot of storylines, to follow, and the reason for this is simple. I happened in 24 all the freaking time! I know many people, myself included, remembered the action scenes from the show more vividly, but doing this fic in this format, has really allowed for some blending of different story types. You have the Fluttershy/Rainbow Dash dynamic, Pinkie and her inner demons, and Trixie trying to help her stay grounded, the Princesses trying to control the chaos, and of course the secret bad guys!
One area I did mention once and will be expanding upon very soon in DAY 2 is where the heck the CMCs are being held. I mentioned Sweetie, and sort of emphasised her, because I may be making her like Bauer's daughter was in the show. For those who know the show, yes, it is a little spoilery, but I want to let you know there is always a reason why things happen in the story, always another side to tell. Not everypony and creature is who they say they are, and motivation can be mixed.
I am pretty clear on who the villains are, many, a bunch of ponies who felt they have been wronged in the show. Give them the ability to strike fear to a nation, and you have yourself a group of motivated enemies. Changelings were easy, as well as Diamond Dogs, but some pony villains I felt weren't so bad as to make them that evil. Trixie is obviously one (more on her later) but also Diamond Tiara. After all, she is just a filly, and despite the fact her friend Silver Spoon was taken as well, she really doesn't seem like one who could mastermind a coup to that level. Within Ponyville, perhaps. With others? probably no. Regarding that scene, I really didn't want even P.D. torturing the filly, so I came up with a modified scene from the show Pretender (look it up, I actually liked the series before it went in circles...) where that main character scares the suspect to confessing, but the danger was never really there in the first place, or imagined to the suspect.
Anyway. I truly hope I handle my version of the Opliptera well. I based them somewhat (with many liberties taken) of Vargas' namesake story 'What Must Be Done' (Hell, I practically threw that name in there in one scene!) and made them creatures of honor. Scary? sometimes. Jokesters but get the job done right? Hell yes! I honestly believe watching a peaceful nation, the more serious Guards, both Royal and Night alike tend to joke around with their comrades. keeps things up and running.
Concerning shipping mentioned: I did make a few OC couplings, both mentioned and unmentioned so far. The obvious one being the Captain and her Lieutenant. But I really feel strongly about the...hmm, I really wouldn't call it shipping, as more 'passionate lovemakers' PinkiexTrixe (or hell Trixie Pie if you must!) The reason I don't call this shipping, even though I now love the pair? The circumstances. I mentioned Trixie thought about her feelings, and considered them like trauma, sort of like an odd Nightingale effect, where one likes their rescuer. Will this relationship last...I cannot say, sorry! But, if I had my way, hell yes. =p
Concerning me very odd brand of comedy: Please forgive me...I really think I am funny at times. I now cringe at what Pinkie said to Trixie (To repeat "Silly Trixie! Carrots are for Rabbits!" a play on old Trix rabbit saying...yeah I am an idiot). Still if you got a laugh, I thank you.
Gore and violence: Hmm, although I am sticking to teen, to relate to the shows own rating, I put in a gore warning after this chapters, as there will be deaths. I foolishly thought, for some reason, that Jack Bauer didn't kill that many people...boy was I wrong! I think there is a site that has the statitics on that, and while Pinkie is not a killer like him, she will have more deaths on her plate. I shall edit my comment previous that said there wouldn't be, because frankly, I was wrong! I have to ask, is what I am writing considered gore? Let me know...
What will happen now the it is know who P.D. Pie really is? Well, you shall have to find out. Trust me, the Princesses, especially Luna, will want to confront the dark side, in fear that it'll corrupt her own Element like Discord (by the way, DISCORD IS NOT BEHIND THIS!) It is a genuine fear, but even her own Opliptera servants see the this 'dark side' isn't all bad. The other Mane Sixes will be brought up, especially Twilight and Rainbow very soon as well, who I see as Pinkie's closest friends. They don't fear her as much as they are concerned about her.
Anyway, all I have to say about that for now! If you notice any typos, please let me know, by indicting which hour it was under...I'll find it from there!

Oh, I must thank you for reading this, first of off. Secondly, although I am away this weekend for the most part, I shall let my editor know to go over the posted chapters again.
I am working on the next updated days currently while out and about, but I shall also look over the story myself as well. I know this story's premise is already rather whack, compared to my others, but I am proud of the work I wrote, just need to make sure it is the best it can be.
