It has been a while since any Displaced fics caught my eye. I am a big fan of Houseki no Kuni, and I read it before the anime aired. That is to say, the chapters that were published back then. The anime did not disappoint either. I am curious to see where you end up going with this. I almost expected our new protag to emerge from the Tree of Harmony.

YEAH! another chapter and it's very good damn I felt the tension and you left me with doubts at the end of what would happen, man I loved it.
Hot diggity. Great chapter, sad they lost abit of themselfs already. Now I wonder if like Canon pho they can merge other minerals into themselfs like gold or bone, perhaps they can have a pseudo horn to cast only the most simple of spells and nothing more ?.
I'd def be curious also what would happen if they touched or saw the elements of harmony.
Damn, barely started and already permanently lost an arm and all the associated memories. Probably that god or whatever they spoke to messing around a bit, seeing as the arm apparently held most of the memories of their previous life. Kind of a dick move.

Understandable, it just seems that way from the armour soldiers fighting the dragon, oft the Mc is found by the main six or a timber wolf. Breath of fresh air that this one doesn't.
