An alicorn by the name of Doom N' Gloom arrives in Ponyville after losing all but the most recent of his memories. Not knowing where he came from or, where he is headed, Doom decides to spend the next few days in Ponyville during which he meets Vinyl Scratch. The two fall for each other and seem to have a perfect connection, however matters are complicated as Doom discovers scant details about his past and an old enemy strives to end Doom's life.
