Oh yeah, it was authentic for sure. And tragedies are a great form of story; they show an emotion that people aren't used to feeling. Sometimes, it's nice to be able to really get a really deep emotional connection into a character. That's be beauty of writing and art in general, is all the different emotions you can make your reader/patron go through. Writing is one of the best ways. And in this piece, you did a great job of pulling off authentic feelings, and for that you should be commended.
