Further edit: Perhaps you could even toss in Blueblood who is shown to be a jerk to mares because he is viewed as an airheaded prettyboy who should be seen and not heard despite having great political reform ideas.
Good start and this story does have a ring of truth about the show. Every single position of authority or job that requires little physical labor is occupied by mares while all positions of manual labor are all occupied by stallions. I mean AppleJack is is constantly running off with the Mane 6 on adventures and Applebloom is trying for her cutie mark while Big Mac is working sun up to sun down every single day on the farm.
I was thinking something closer to Lysistrata...
