Very intriguing, looking forward to more. The language in parts comes off as a bit generic and you have a few spelling errors here and there. Find someone that will do some editing and I think you will really have something.

I'm curious to find out what Dash's post-rainboom growing up looked like in this alternative Equestria. With the pegasi apparently serving as the military arm of the pony civilization, I wouldn't be surprised if she was pulled into service fairly rapidly after she demonstrated her abilities so dramatically.
Windigos, interesting. There was mention of them by Blueblood a few chapters back, so I was wondering if they were going to show up.

What a different Equestria this is, and what an interesting herd bonding ritual.
This is a seriously interesting take on what would have happened to Equestria who existed for a thousand years without their gods. Looking forward to more, this is getting really good!
