MFW the worst story I ever wrote got 591 favorites, almost double what my best story has.
I love writing, but I'm seldom content with what I write.
MFW the worst story I ever wrote got 591 favorites, almost double what my best story has.
Pretty in Pink gets its 300th fav on my birthday. What a day, what a day.
Thank you all so much for supporting my sporradic and inconsistent writing. You're all wonderful. A tad strange, and not a tiny bit rabid, but wonderful nonetheless.
...yeah.
Seriously, though. Like... updates or something I guess. Coming soon, all that jazz. Soon as in not now. I don't know why people are still favoriting my ancient stories. Pretty in Pink just got a new one today. That's always happening. I have no idea why. It's been almost a year and a half since EqD took it. I'd have thought everyone who was going to find it would have found it by now.
So I recently learned a very valuable lesson.
Temporarily, that is. I'm going to wait until this latest chapter receives its judgement. If it is well-received I will try my best to pick it up and work on it again. But if it is a flop I will pursue the audiodrama path.
So, head on over to The Witch, and check out "X Pars - Constitutum".
Hello! This is my proof that I am not a changeling. I will have sent my application via markgaarder@gmail.com.
I have lost my motivation to write The Witch. It is gone. That drive is completely gone.
HOWEVER! All hope is not lost.
I am compelled to get together some voice actors and continue producing The Witch as an audiodrama. It feels, to me, like a much more sustainable medium for the story, and perhaps by this method I might continue the tales of Heath Kenbroth as he learns the truth about himself.
This is a two-fold update!
1. My moxie was waning, but now it's ebbing. I'm getting it back! I'm back, baby! I haven't forgotten about that challenge - I am still working on ponifying a Poe story (per TypewriterError's suggestion). But I just want anyone interested to know that I will be posting the Poe story, the next installation of The Witch, and the first chapter of a brand new adventure some time within this next month! Maybe even before s3!
So it's no secret that right now I have writer's block. Everyone is aware, correct? Well, I want to break this writer's block as quickly as possible, and from what I've heard, the best way to do so is simply to start writing again, and to not stop writing.
I'm here to tell you all that The Witch will be going on an indefinite hiatus until I can pull myself out of this writer's block. The time until I pull it off of hiatus will most likely consist of a vast quantity of terrible or even unreadable stories as I attempt to pull myself out of this slump.
I deeply apologize for the inconvenience, and just want you to know that the wait WILL be worth it.
