Some things to have in mind while reading:

1. This is not a shipping fanfic in any ways. Its main purpose is being there just for the lulz. However, some romantic features may or may not be present at some points of the story.
2.- The story is set in Ponyville some years after the actual series time. Foals like Pound and Pumpkin Cake are fillies now, fillies like the CMC are young ponies, some of them -the late bloomers- just got their cutiemarks.
3.- The story is written with flashbacks, so read carefully. I know I would get confused because I have the attention span of a fish.
4.- Having that in mind, I'll try to write this as clear as I can. You know that any doubt you have concerning the story, you can leave it in the comments. I'll gladly answer all of them!
