The good news is that I’m staying in the habit of writing, working on several little projects to keep myself busy. Posts to my tumblr, stuff like this post, and other stuff.
The bad news is that they are for Everfree NW 2013, and they are LITTLE projects, and under the 1,000 word limit for posting... so it’ll be a few months before I can post them, which will likely require putting them into a compilation story with some of my other small works.

My cat of 15 years has died. What this means for my writing... I don't know.
In other news, I've got the new charger.

So I've been thinking about starting up The Search for Fluttershy sooner rather than later. Alas, I do my writing on my laptop, and the external power supply/adaptor seems to have failed; or at least, I can't detect any voltage on the DC side, using a professional multimeter. I've ordered a replacement, and my files are safely backed up, but it may be a week, or more, before I can write again; despite being around to feed on the energy you send me when you make good comments on my stories.

So I'm writing the Epilogue for Equestria Trek: First Contact. And in a way it is a microcosm of the story itself, it is intended to set up for the next story.

So yeah, I just bleed most of 500 words of the most emotional part of the story since the Scootaloo feels back in chapter 5. 'course, once again, ongoing events will require that the characters move on, but I feel that given what happens next that there had to be the powerful moment.
