Well I had hoped to finish After Midnight by the end of the year, unfortunately I didn't count on spending half the month sick in bed. I have been working on it though, and I will have the next chapter out very soon. Then there's just two more chapters left for this one which should go rather quickly as I've planned the ending of this story very thoroughly.

In any case, it won't be long now. I may even finish it over this weekend as I'll probably have a lot of free time.

So it's been a bit since the last chapter for After Midnight, good news is the next one is just about finished. Also, I'm focusing on After Midnight now that I finished Child of Misery. After Midnight is the only work in progress I have currently posted and I've decided i'm not going to post any new stories until this one is finished.

I haven't posted an update in a while. Good news is, the first draft of all remaining chapters of Child of Misery are completed. So I will begin posting them soon as I have time to go over them again for a final pass. This also means I will be posting chapters fairly frequently from here on out. So the biggest problem I have when writing isn't a lack of ideas but too many. I've mentioned this before, probably several times by now, but it's still true. In developing background for characters, history to explain what led to current events in a story or even in thinking about what would happen afterwords, I am constantly thinking of ideas that I think might make a good story.

So I got a bit behind on my writing in the last week due to a corrupted file. Particularly the summary for Midnight Star and the Father of Light, that I've been working on. In total I lost over five chapter's worth of summary which for me means about 6-7 pages or 3k words... This is the second time this has happened to me.

So as I was planning I went ahead and finished the first draft version of Midnight Star: The Frozen Empire. I'm doing some touch ups and corrections in each chapter now and posting them as I finish. I've already posted two of the remaining chapters and will be posting another one later today. With the first drafts done I will be able to continue posting chapters at regular intervals so... Yay!

Alright so it's been a few months since my last update for Midnight Star: The Frozen Empire. As I said in the edit of my last blog, I'm trying to finish the first draft of the rest of the chapters before I start posting them. Good news is I'm nearly done. Bad news is I'm not done yet.
