1. My little vacation is over. I was planning to announce that with the little short that I'm working on, but, you know, whatever, right?

2. Several comments have lately been complaining that "Forever Faithful" should have been longer than a one-shot. So, if all goes well, I'll probably write v2.0, including 6+ chapters with more detail and description. Should clear up any fog surrounding some things...

So yeah. That's the story, and I'm sticking to it.

Such an ugly word, decay. But I feel like there isn't another word that suits my writing.

It's decaying, and it's as plain as the nose on my face. How horrifying.

I'm going to take a brief vacation - find some way to reverse this terrible trend, recharge my batteries, etc. etc.

...and that's never a good thing, mind you. But I have.

I'm going to switch styles on Diplomatic Intrigue. Instead of rapid fire chapters every day, I'm going to try and publish 4-5 chapters every week. (That's around 20k words a week, math peons.) It'll give me time to review, revise, and otherwise improve the material I'm churning out.

You guys probably hate it anyway.

Oh, and I have more short one-shot ideas. Some comedic, some sad, and some downright terrifying.

Well, I don't have that many.

Yet.

But I'm close! So, when I hit the 300 follower mark, I've decided that I'm going to do something special. It might be a one-shot story, it might be something severely personal. Heck, I might even try my hand at drawing for you guys! It all depends on if I get to 300 followers, though.

Well, chapter 2 is well underway, and it has pretty much all the information needed to create my little kingdom.

But, I'm tired. Soo...

You guys probably had a lot higher expectations of Diplomatic Intrigue, and were probably disappointed by the first chapter.

Holy crap, you guys are awesome! May there be much rejoicing!

Also, keep an eye out. My next story is nearly here, and it's probably the best first chapter I've ever written.

I've actually been inspired today for two totally original story ideas. One of them is a short one-shot, which you all will be seeing shortly (if you care, that is) and the other is the groundwork for a longer, multi-chapter story. I'm actually going to try and lay out my thoughts before I dive into the second one, so maybe we'll get it to flow a little better than Star Gazing did.
